Democrats in Trouble
Enough has been said of their search for presidential timber. But the Democrats are in danger in of losing more seats in the Senate as well. The 2004 elections put them in some precarious positions: many more sitting Democrats than Republicans will be defending their seats. And to add to their troubles, many of those seats are in the South and West.
I'm not a big fan of Republicans, except when they are running against Democrats.
But I think it is a good bet that they will control Congress until at least 2006.
